Пер. Ще один день, ще один долар.
Ком. Первісно, можливо, пов’язано з формою оплати, коли за день роботи найманий робітник отримував один долар. У вислів вживають у значенні «кожен новий день приносить нові прибутки» або як заувагу про щоденну робочу рутину. Структурну основу прислів’я (another …, another …) часто використовуютьт, замінюючи слова day і dollar (див. приклади).
